Car reflections
Black and White
The title of my photo series is Car Reflections. I used the law of thirds in my compositional technique. These photos are important to me because it represents how I look at cars and this photo series inspires me to do more car photography. The subject of my photos is car reflection. The cars that I photographed in this photo series is my scion tc and my mom's Mercedes and a 1968 Camaro . My concept of this photo series is to show my point of view of looking at cars. I used my macro 60 mm f/2.8 lens and my wide angle lens. I focused on capturing the cars at a low point of view and close up view. I changed the color to black and white. My photographer inspiration is Michael Lewis Glover .
Memory in the Present
In this photo series, I photographed my memories from present day. In some of these photos, I photographed my dog Ruddy before he passed away on January 22, 2018. In some of the photos is memories of my faith and religion. There are also memories of going to cars shows and meeting Dave Kindig from Kindig-it Design at a Goodguys car show. There is also family memories of my mom making homemade cookies.
I photograph because I love to capture the little moments in my life. My family and friends motivate me to photograph. That inspires me to capture every moment in my life. I used the law of thirds to photograph this series. I used my macro 60mm f/2.8 lens. The only editing that I did was the car reflection photo in black and white. My photography means the world to me. I love capturing little moments that help me to remember those memories. I am communicating memories from the present day.

Memory from the Past
In my photo series, I photographed the progression of my 1969 Camaro from when I first got it to present. On November 11, 2013 at 4:15pm, I bought my 1969 Camaro, which is my first photo of this series. The second and third photo is a photo of my Ls1 engine for the Camaro. My fourth photo is when the Camaro was brought to my dad's autobody shop in fall river, MA. In the fifth photo, my dad and I took out the floor panel in the car because it was all rusted out. The sixth photo is a photo of the new floor panel being painted in primer. Then the seventh photo is a photo o the back trunk of the Camaro and put in primer. The eighth photo is a photo of the Camaro with replaced doors, quarter panels and a flattened fire wall. The ninth photo is the mini tubs of the camaro. Mini tubs is the act of widening a cars near wheelwells, moving the inner halves inboard to the location of the stock frame rails to achieve maximum tire clearance without major frame hacking. The tenth photo is when the fenders were put on. Last two photo is the camaro put into primer.
Cars inspire me as a photographer because I am fascinated by the body structure of this car and inspires me to photograph car photos. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved cars. I hoped to show my passion for cars and the detailed craftsmanship. My goal as a photographer in this photo series is to show how hard work can lead to a master piece of art. I want the viewer to feel excited about cars and learn about cars through my point of view. This photo series is important to me because I love this car and the car is in memory of my grandmother.
